Maine Industrial Tire (MIT) Solid Tire Warranty Procedure

  1. All claims must be submitted to a Regional Sales Manager on an MIT Warranty Adjustment
Form within 30 days of the date of failure. Claims submitted after such period may be subject to denial by MIT in its sole discretion.
  2. Serial number of the tire, Outside Diameter and Service hours must be included on the
warranty adjustment form. Missing or illegible information on the form may delay processing
    of the claim.
  3. Photos of each tire submitted for adjustment must accompany the form. The photo(s) should
show the damaged area of the tire and an overall view of the tire.
  4. Tires submitted for adjustment must be available for return. If MIT determines the return of
the tire to be necessary, MIT will forward a Returned Goods Authorization (RTO) number and
shipping instructions to the Buyer. Shipping instructions will include the procedure required for MIT to bear the cost of shipping the requested tire.
  5. Any tire subject to an RTO must be received by MIT within 30 days from submission of the
    RTO number to the Buyer.
  6. MIT will accept or deny the warranty claim within 30 days of receipt of a warranty adjustment form or in the case of MIT requiring the tire to be returned to the factory, within 30 days of the receipt of the returned tire.
